Right of Withdrawal
If the Customer is a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Protection Law (a natural person purchasing goods for purposes not related to their business or professional activity), the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase. In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts" of the Republic of Latvia, the Customer has the right to return goods purchased from Poetica.lv to SIA "POETICA" within 30 (thirty) calendar days.
The withdrawal period expires 30 (thirty) calendar days from the day on which the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer (other than the carrier), takes possession of the goods.
The Customer must notify POETICA of the intention to return the goods by sending a written notice to info@poetica.lv, stating the item(s) to be returned and the order number. When returning goods, the Customer may use the attached withdrawal form or print it independently. The bank account number must be provided for the refund.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If the Customer withdraws from this contract, POETICA will reimburse all payments received from the Customer, including the delivery costs. The refund will be made using the same payment method that the Customer used for the original transaction unless the Customer has expressly agreed to another method. In any event, no additional fees will be charged for the refund. POETICA may withhold the reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or until the Customer has provided proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The Customer shall return the goods to:
POETICA Store
Brīvības iela 58
Riga, LV-1011
Latvia
The goods must be returned without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date on which the Customer informed POETICA of the decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the end of the 30-day period.
Returned goods must meet the following conditions:
- The goods must be returned in their original packaging.
- The goods must not be damaged.
- The goods must not have been used or lost their commercial appearance (labels, protective films, seals, etc. must remain intact). This does not apply to products damaged during delivery.
- The returned goods must be in the same condition as when they were received.
- The Customer is responsible for covering the direct cost of returning the goods.
The Customer is liable only for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
